Prime minister Narendra Modi has said that the bjp has decided not to go the route of vote banking in politics. Also, he strongly criticized the triple talaq system and insisted on general civil law.

Prime minister Modi addressed the bjp booth committee members in Bhopal, madhya pradesh today. In the name of 'My booth is the strongest booth', the members of the bjp booth committee from all over the country who have made outstanding contributions were selected and PM Modi met them today.

Then he said, "Madhya Pradesh has played a huge role in making bjp the biggest party in the world. The strength of a party is its workers. You don't sit in air-conditioned rooms and give orders. You meet people in the field by facing severe climatic challenges. bjp does not do vote bank politics by appeasing anyone. "If india wants to grow, villages must grow," PM Modi said.

Why two laws? - Talking about triple talaq, prime minister Narendra Modi said, "If triple talaq is inseparable from Islam, why is it not practiced in countries like Egypt, Indonesia, Qatar, Jordan, Syria, bangladesh and Pakistan. In Egypt, which has 90 percent Sunni Muslims, triple talaq was abolished 80 years ago.

How can two different schemes apply to the same family? Likewise, a nation cannot function with two sets of laws," he said, stressing the common civil law.

Also criticizing triple talaq system, prime minister Modi said, "The supporters of triple talaq are hungry for vote bank. They are doing great injustice to Muslim daughters. triple talaq affects not only a woman but the entire family. If a girl who goes into marriage with confidence is sent back to her home, her parents and brothers get hurt. .That's why wherever I go, Muslim women support the bjp because of the abolition of triple talaq."
