Reliance jio Telecom has launched a 4G phone called 'Jio Bharat' at Rs.999. With this, jio has launched a Paley program to convert 2G network users to 4G network users in the country. jio is branding it as an affordable internet enabled phone. jio claims that its monthly recharge charges are 30 percent cheaper compared to other network operators for future phones. In addition to this, jio also said that users can get 7 times more data usage.

The basic recharge of this phone is Rs.123. Users can get unlimited calls and 14GB 4G data for a month. That is, other telecom companies are currently only offering unlimited calls and 2GB data for 28 days at a recharge of Rs 179.

Beta trial of jio Bharat phone starts on 7th. jio is launching around 10 lakh jio Bharat phones in the market initially. It will go on sale simultaneously in various states across the country.

Answer to 2G Network Usage: jio Bharat phone is launched in the market targeting the 250 million users who are currently using future phones in India. Jio's plan is to convert them into 4G network users and answer the 2G network usage in the country.

Jio started beta testing in india in 2015. It was rolled out nationwide in 2016. Since then jio has made a new leap in the indian telecom industry. In that way, jio Bharat is also expected to make a change in the phone market.
