Shankar Jiwal, who took over as DGP, received complaints from the public and the police. He also announced that to resolve the grievances of the public and policemen, their petitions will be received in person at the DGP office at 11.30 a.m. every day except government holidays from monday to Friday. 33 civilians and 10 policemen submitted their petitions to shankar Jiwal in person. The DGP received them and assured that appropriate action would be taken. He also ordered them to be forwarded to the concerned police officers under the police limits and to take immediate action and submit a report in this regard to him immediately possible.
