Sathya (Siva Karthikeyan) is a comic book artist who lives in a slum area with his mother (Saritha) and Sister (Monisha). One fine day, the slum area is cleared and they are taken to a Housing board apartment which was built in Minister's fund. However, the apartment wasn't built properly and there are cracks and leaks everywhere. Even though siva karthikeyan wants to fight against the corrupt system, he has a huge fear inside and he stays away. Even when the engineer harasses his sister he couldn't be bold enough to stand against him.

At one point, he falls from the terrace and he starts hearing voices in his head and the voices exactly say what is going to happen in the future. Sathya becomes a hero and stands against the corrupt minister Jayakodi (Mysskin) and the movie is all about the clash between him and the Minister. What's the voice which comes to Sathya? Did Sathya save the slum board people from the Apartment demolishment? watch out for the answers on the big screen.
Siva karthikeyan is no longer an entertainer and he understood that after the debacle of the 'Prince' movie. Maaveeran has elevated him as a terrific performer. As a scared common man, he showcases most of us and he reflects us. And the transformation into 'Maaveeran' also was top-notch. Aditi shankar is just a filler as the 'Dina Thee' newspaper's Sub-Editor.  Yogi Babu is the show stealer next to Siva Karthikeyan. He brings down the roofs with his witty one-liners.
Saritha, Monisha, Sunil, and Mysskin have done justice to their roles. The songs aren't catchy except 'Vannarapettaiyile'. The background score was Okayish. The cinematography was brilliant. Art Work should be mentioned in particular as several scenes give a very realistic feeling without being a set property. The editing could have been crisper. Nevertheless, the gripping screenplay forgets the flaws and carries the movie forward. Madonne Ashwin keeps up his promise of delivering and sets up another promise of him becoming one of the most filmmakers in tamil Cinema.

Overall,  Tamil cinema gets an Enjoyable, Fun-Filled, Memorable, and Entertaining Film
