AIADMK councilors raised a war flag at the madurai Municipal Corporation meeting saying, "Where is the collected public fund going, a white paper should be published?"

Madurai Corporation meeting was held today under the chairmanship of Mayor Indrani. Corporation Commissioner praveen Kumar and Deputy Mayor Nagarajan presided. Mayor Indrani said, "The Corporation condemns the central government and the state government, which is ruling on the basis of religion, which is the cause of the riots in Manipur. people will decide to remove these regimes,” he said. The discussion that followed was as follows:

East Zone President Vasuki: Councilors have been given Rs 5 lakh in the last one and a half years. But we collect Rs.1.5 crore per month for our zone. Out of which Rs 20 lakh to Rs 50 lakh per month should be provided to the zone. Due to lack of funds to carry out minor works like rainwater canals, drains, water pipe breaks and blockages, even such minor works have to wait for the central office. By the time the Mayor, Commissioner, get the permission and get the funds, the people are affected. No work could be undertaken due to non-allocation of funds to the zone. Hence, we could not hold zonal meetings either.

North Zone leader Saravana Bhuvaneshwari: Half of the councilors still don't have an office building. How can they meet people? Assistant Engineers Vacancy at Zonal Level. Corporation schools are short of teachers for core subjects including mathematics. Hence, the pass rate also decreased this year. Enrollment has also decreased. The Corporation should take special care in the matter of education.

South Zone President mukesh Sharma: You are giving only 3 minutes to speak in the meeting. However, the questions asked to the councilors in the last meeting have not been answered in writing till now. Your 3 minutes will be gone before you hear the answers in this meeting. Then how can people talk about problems.
