Krishna Janmashtami: pooja Timings...


The celebration of krishna Janmashtami, also known as Gokulashtami, will take place on september 7 this year. In this article, we discuss the importance of Gokulashtami and the puja muhurat in advance of the festival.

One of the most highly revered deities in hinduism is Lord Krishna, the eighth manifestation of Lord Vishnu. Thus, his followers all over the world celebrate his birthdate, also known as krishna Janmashtami or Gokulashtami, with great zeal and fervour. According to the Hindu calendar, Lord krishna was born on the eighth day of the Bhadrapada month during the rohini Nakshatra. According to Drikpanchang, this year will be the 5250th anniversary of Shri Krishna's birth. According to reports, the Ashtami tithi will start on september 6, 2023, at 3:37 pm, and it will end on september 7, 2023, at 4:14 pm. On this day, followers of Lord krishna fast and offer prayers to him until late at night before celebrating his birth at the appointed hour.
