The G-20 summit has begun at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi's Pragati Maidan as of Saturday, september 9. The conference will end on september 10th, Sunday. To take part in this conference, heads of state and representatives from every nation in the world have travelled to India. This conference is being held for the first time in India.

Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, gave a welcome address to the conference. In his speech to the G-20 summit, prime minister Modi stated that the lack of trust in the world after COVID-19 has caused a major crisis. On Saturday, a joint declaration was however made. There are rumours that the G-20's name may change now that the African Union has a permanent membership. The name of the G20 could be changed to the G-21, according to the news agency. This is not a time for war, and it affects people all over the world, all of the leaders of the nations that came to the summit declared in unison.

The G20 Summit's manifesto states that it is the primary forum for global economic cooperation, not for the resolution of geopolitical issues. Additionally, a request was made to restart the grain agreement between russia and ukraine at the G20 summit. It has been suggested during the conference that efforts should be made to negotiate using UN principles in order to restore long-term peace in Ukraine. This conflict currently exists between russia and Ukraine.
