The G-20 summit has begun at Bharat Mandapam in Delhi's Pragati Maidan as of Saturday, september 9. The conference will end on september 10th, Sunday. To take part in this conference, heads of state and representatives from every nation in the world have travelled to India. This conference is being held for the first time in India.

Narendra Modi, the prime minister of India, gave a welcome address to the conference. In his speech to the G-20 summit, prime minister Modi stated that the lack of trust in the world after COVID-19 has caused a major crisis. We can get through this crisis with mutual trust once we defeat Covid. We are capable of winning. Now is the time for us to all move forward as one. We can all follow the mantra of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas as a result.

Seven significant G20 summit decisions 

The two-day summit's opening day saw the adoption of the New delhi Declaration. The declaration has won universal support. Many significant decisions were also made during this time. These include reestablishing long-term peace in ukraine, including the African Union's inclusion in the G20, and the Russia-Ukraine grain deal. 1- The G20 now includes the African Union (AU). As a result, the African Union joined the G20, an association of the largest economies in the world, on Saturday.

The Joint Declaration of delhi was also released at the summit. china expressed disapproval earlier on friday (September 8), particularly regarding the issue of Ukraine. On Saturday, a joint declaration was however made. There are rumours that the G-20's name may change now that the African Union has a permanent membership. The name of the G20 could be changed to the G-21, according to the news agency. This is not a time for war, and it affects people all over the world, all of the leaders of the nations that came to the summit declared in unison.

The G20 Summit's manifesto states that it is the primary forum for global economic cooperation, not for the resolution of geopolitical issues. Additionally, a request was made to restart the grain agreement between russia and ukraine at the G20 summit. It has been suggested during the conference that efforts should be made to negotiate using UN principles in order to restore long-term peace in Ukraine. This conflict currently exists between russia and Ukraine.
