Chandrababu Naidu - No Bail, only Jail...
A vijayawada court has remanded chandrababu naidu, the former chief minister of andhra pradesh and leader of the tdp, into judicial custody for a period of 14 days until september 23. This choice has to do with his alleged participation in a skill development scam. After more than six hours of arguments, the order was given. Now, it's anticipated that the former cm will be transferred to rajahmundry Central Prison.
This occurs on september 10, a day after the state's Crime Investigation Department (CID) detained the opposition leader in the andhra pradesh legislative assembly. According to the CID, chandrababu naidu has been named "accused no. 1" in the 371 crore skill development scam and has been identified as its key player. The government order, according to the agency, was issued on Naidu's orders with the apparent intent to deplete the public coffers while assisting private citizens.
In court, Naidu disputes any wrongdoing
The proceedings, which got under way around 6 AM on september 10th, lasted for more than six hours. The tdp leader's legal counsel disagreed with the prosecution's proposal that Naidu serve a 15-day judicial detention. Nearly 24 hours after being detained, the Crime Investigation Department (CID) brought Naidu before the court. The tdp leader spoke directly to the judge, denouncing his arrest as illegal and accusing the ysr congress Party administration of carrying out it as part of a political vendetta.
