The elections in telangana are quickly approaching. The election is only one and a half months away. As the congress and bjp prepare to release its first list of candidates, BRS is leading the opposition by declaring the candidates. janasena received the Glass Tumbler emblem from the election commission and had earlier declared her intention to run in 32 seats. In telangana, janasena did not make the same declaration, despite its alliance with the tdp in Andhra Pradesh. Also, the candidates have not yet been revealed.

It remains to be seen if pawan kalyan would actively participate in and campaign for this election at this point. Telangana's issue stems from Janasena's total disregard for the state unit. Pawan Kalyan's political rivals in andhra pradesh will have a chance to claim he is ineffective and worthless if he engages in vigorous campaigning in the state and produces no results.

Six months remain till the andhra pradesh elections, and pawan kalyan cannot afford to take that chance. This implies that he will need to give up on telangana entirely. The tdp will face a similar predicament, but they already know the solution. A telangana campaign is unlikely given that lokesh is occupied and Chandrababu is incarcerated.
