According to media sources, Israeli tanks have started to position themselves on the Gaza border fence as part of the ongoing military build-up amidst the constant bombing of the beleaguered Palestinian territory. Amidst an impending ground attack, israel ordered 1.1 million people of northern Gaza to relocate to the south, displacing tens of thousands of Palestinians.

In Israeli airstrikes, at least 2,329 Palestinians have died, including 724 children. There have been 1,300 Israeli deaths as a result of Hamas military operations, including 286 soldiers. The Israeli military claims it is hitting sites in lebanon in response to a fatal missile strike on its territory by Hezbollah members. According to Al Jazeera, iran has issued a warning to israel to stop its "war crimes" on Gaza.

Israel's army spokesperson, Daniel Hagari, declares that the armed forces would conduct operations "anywhere in the Middle East." "We constantly scan the entire Middle east for new opportunities," Israeli media cited Hagari as saying. "[The army] will carry out operations to achieve Israel's security objectives wherever in the Middle East. We are extremely well-prepared in every way," he continued, according to Al Jazeera.
