After the success of Master, Lalith produced big films like Vijay Sethupathi's Tughlaq Darbar, Kathuvakula Rendu Kadhal, vikram starrer Mahaan, and Cobra. Lalith teamed up with Thalapathy again for Leo because of his friendship with Vijay during Master. Directed by lokesh kanagaraj, the film was produced by Lalith Kumar with the biggest budget in Vijay's career. The movie Leo, which was made with a budget of around 300 crores, was released in the theaters a few days ago and is making a dent in the collections. In this situation, in an interview given by Lalith Kumar after the release of the film Leo, the actor spoke about the moment when he was scolded by Vijay. He said: that Vijay sir called and scolded him for releasing the film Mahaan in OTT. At that time, vikram sir's two films Cobra and Mahaan were not released. He was in a situation where one of the films had to be released in OTT. Due to the delay in the Cobra shooting, he had no choice but to release Mahan in OTT. He took this decision only after convincing karthik Subpuraj. Lalit Kumar said in the interview that after releasing it in OTT, Vijay sir called him and said that this is a film that should be released in theatres.
