Timed Out issue..!? Shakib Al Hasan showed no mercy..!?

Sri Lankan player Angelo Mathews was out after more than 3 minutes without meeting the ball even though he came to the field. However, it is said that if bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan requested him to play then this was not an out. But Shakib Al Hasan didn't budge and asked the umpire for an out, ignoring what Angelo Mathews said. This incident has caused great shocks in the world of cricket. The world cup League match between bangladesh and sri lanka was held in Delhi. Even though both teams missed out on the semi-final, there is a rivalry between the two teams. So, within a few minutes of the Sri Lankan team batting first, Kusal Mendis and Bangladeshi player Tansim Shakib had words. Both insulted each other. After that, the umpire stopped them. After a few overs of this heat, sri lanka lost 4 wickets and veteran Angelo Mathews came to bat. Then he brought the wrong helmet. So after coming to the pitch he signaled to his teammates to bring another helmet. A Sri Lankan player fetched his helmet. But it has been more than 3 minutes. According to ICC rules, after a batsman is out, the next batsman must come on the field within 3 minutes. However, bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan was dismissed as Mathews took too long to change his helmet with the batting. But Angelo Mathews, who did not expect this, explained his situation to Shakib Al Hasan. But he was not ready to listen to it. So, Angelo Mathews is out.
If Shakib thinks he is not out, he may ask to be bowled. But he showed no mercy. Angelo Mathews is the first batsman in the history of international cricket to be dismissed in time out. This incident took place in 24.2 overs when the Sri Lankan team was batting. Also, Mathews got out without facing a single ball. As per the rules, this out does not count towards the bowler. It will be treated as a common wicket. Mathews was visibly angry when he went to the players' room after the incident. He appealed to the Sri Lankan coaches about his concern. After the next few balls, the Sri Lankan coach came to the field and spoke to the umpires about it. However, the umpires said they had given out as per the rules. Also, even if the result is changed then the player who has left after another batsman starts to play cannot be called to play.
