Celebrate diwali with crackers..! But burst it at this time!

Diwali has always been celebrated with gaiety amid the colors of Rangoli, joyous celebrations, and bursting crackers. But due to increasing air pollution in the last few years, the authorities have banned bursting of firecrackers. This year too, the supreme court has issued an order regarding the ban on bursting firecrackers on Diwali. After the order, state governments across the country decided to give some relaxations to people on diwali, which specified several restrictions, including the timing of bursting of firecrackers and the types of firecrackers allowed.

Tamil Nadu: The tamil Nadu government has given permission to burst green crackers on Diwali. Over the past few years, firecracker manufacturers in Sivakasi, considered the firecracker capital of India, have switched to green crackers by avoiding barium chloride and following the supreme Court-approved formula. However, regulating the informal sector remains a challenge. According to Environment Protection Rule 89, make firecrackers that emit more than 125 decibels at a distance of 4 meters from the point of bursting of firecrackers. Do not use or sell. Also, do not sell or use (explode) banned Chinese-made explosives, do not keep firecrackers where flammable materials are present, and do not explode firecrackers near parking places of two-wheelers, 3-wheelers, and 4-wheelers and near petrol stations where petrol is stored.
Punjab: The Bhagwant Maan government has allowed the sale and bursting of eco-friendly crackers called green crackers during the festive season starting with Diwali. On diwali, green crackers will be allowed to be burst between 8 pm and 10 pm, while on Guruparvam, devotees can burst crackers between 4 am and 5 am and between 9 pm and 10 pm, said Environment minister Gurmeet Singh Meet Heyer.

Fireworks will be allowed between 11.55 pm and 12.30 am on christmas Day, the order said. The same rule will be followed on New Year's Day. The minister also said that all crackers will be sold online.
Uttar Pradesh: police have banned the sale of firecrackers in noida and Ghaziabad, which are close to the capital Delhi. The state government has said that green crackers will be allowed to be sold only if the air Quality Index (AQI) is recorded at a satisfactory level.

Telangana: Police have allowed firecrackers to be burst for two hours only on diwali in Hyderabad. hyderabad police Commissioner sandeep Chandilya's order states that during these two hours, the sound of firecrackers should be within the permissible limit. These restrictions will come into effect from 6 am on november 12 (Sunday) and remain in force until 6 am on november 15.

Maharashtra: There is no ban on bursting firecrackers in the state. The bombay high court has permitted to burst firecrackers for three hours on diwali from 7 pm to 10 pm.

West Bengal: The state government has permitted to sell only green crackers. There will also be a two-hour window on diwali from 8 pm to 10 pm and on Sat Puja from 6 am to 8 am. The window for bursting green crackers on christmas and New Year days is open for 35 minutes from 11:55 pm to 12:30 pm.
