Israel-Hamas war: Children in danger-Benjamin-'Playing with fire'..

Within Gaza's medical community, areas of conflict have arisen due to the Israel-Hamas conflict. Many children's lives as well as those of regular adults are in jeopardy. The disruption in the gasoline supply resulted in the deaths of three youngsters who were hospitalized in the intensive care unit of Al Shifa, the biggest hospital in Gaza. The doctor cautions that thirty preterm newborns could die if fuel supplies are not increased.

An Israeli military spokesman told the BBC that Hamas refused to accept gasoline that the Al Shifa hospital sorely needed to save the lives of premature newborns. Israel's security agencies said that at approximately nine o'clock at night, Hamas fired missiles from the hospital, according to a BBC report.

What claims does israel make?

According to news reports, Al Shifa Hospital is apparently besieged by the Israeli army. Following this, thousands of people fled, but hundreds of patients got stuck. According to Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director-General of the World health Organization (WHO), "Shifa is no longer functioning as a hospital." In fact, israel has claimed that Hamas has tunnels inside the hospital that it uses as a haven and a place to hide. These allegations have been flatly denied by the hospital and Hamas.

What did Benjamin Netanyahu and the Deputy health minister of the Gaza Strip say?

Benjamin Netanyahu, the prime minister of israel, warned Hezbollah that those who attack our troops are playing with fire. We haven't utilized all of the power we have up to this point. We'll destroy Hamas. As per Youssef Abu Rish, the Gaza Strip's deputy minister of health, all hospitals in the northern portion of the enclave are closed at the moment.
