According to police, a lady allegedly bit off her husband's right ear in a rage in the Sultanpuri region of the city's outer district on Sunday. The 45-year-old victim informed authorities that the bite destroyed the top section of his right ear, necessitating surgery.

Following therapy, the victim filed a lawsuit against his wife. According to police, an FIR has been filed against the lady under Section 324 of the indian Penal Code (IPC) (voluntarily inflicting harm by hazardous weapons or methods), and an additional investigation is underway. "On november 20, around 9.20 a.m., I went outside to throw garbage." I requested that my wife clean the home. "My wife began fighting with me shortly after I returned home over an unknown issue," the complainant informed the police. He also told the cops that his wife had begged him to sell the house and give her a percentage of the proceeds so that she could live away from the children.

"I tried to persuade her, but a verbal spat ensued." She even tried to strike me, but I was able to push her away. I was walking out of the home when she grabbed me from behind and bit my right ear so hard that the upper piece of my ear was severed. "My son drove me to Sanjay gandhi Hospital in Mangolpuri for treatment," the victim told police, adding that he needed surgery at jaipur Golden Hospital in Rohini.

The police claimed they received information about the attack from a hospital on november 20 and dispatched a squad to investigate. "The victim was ill and unable to provide a statement." He had told the cops that he would come to the station to make his story. On november 22, he went to the police station and filed a written complaint. "We have filed a FIR in this case, and further investigation is underway," stated a senior police official.
