In october this year, sewage was released for the second time from the Fukushima nuclear power plant, which was condemned by china and other neighboring countries. The Fukushima power plant melted down after the march 2011 earthquake and resulting tsunami. Since then, part of the 1.34 million tonnes of sewage has started to be discharged into the Pacific Ocean from august 24.

In the first phase, 7,800 tonnes of sewage was released into the Pacific.
