In a recent disturbing incident in Uttar Pradesh, the family members of a young woman raised serious allegations that her eyes went missing after a post-mortem was conducted on her body. The incident has sparked widespread discussions and concerns. The district Magistrate swiftly responded to the situation by ordering an inquiry into the matter and issuing key instructions to officials.
The incident unfolded in Rasula village, Badayu district, where the body of a 20-year-old woman was discovered hanging on Sunday. Allegations emerged suggesting foul play, asserting that she might have been murdered for dowry and later portrayed as a suicide. Consequently, a dowry case was registered against her husband, and her body was sent to the local government hospital for a post-mortem examination.
Upon the completion of the post-mortem, when the body was returned to the family, they discovered that the eyes were missing. The family accused the hospital staff and doctors of being responsible for this during the post-mortem procedure. Subsequently, they approached the district Magistrate seeking intervention.
In response to the gravity of the situation, the district Magistrate initiated an inquiry and directed a re-examination of the body through another post-mortem. Strict action will be taken against anyone found guilty. Additionally, medical officers were instructed to thoroughly document the second post-mortem process by capturing a complete video, and the findings are expected to be submitted in a detailed report.
