A wave of concern and panic has swept through hyderabad with news of yet another significant fire incident, this time at Ankura Hospital in Gudimalkapur. The fire, which engulfed the entire six-story hospital building, initiated on the sixth floor and rapidly descended to the first floor, intensifying the fear and anxiety among local residents. The incident occurred shortly after a previous fire incident, adding to the heightened sense of alarm.

In response to the emergency, firemen and police rushed to the scene with four fire engines, striving to control and extinguish the flames. The enormity of the fire presented challenges to the rescue operations. Hospital staff, alarmed by the unfolding crisis, initiated the evacuation of patients from the building. The cause of the fire remains under investigation, with initial speculation suggesting a possible gas cylinder explosion.


The sixth floor of the hospital building, where the fire reportedly started, housed a hostel for nurses. It is believed that a gas cylinder explosion occurred around 4 o'clock in the evening, possibly during cooking activities. Approximately 100 nurses, in a state of fear, hurriedly descended from the building as the fire rapidly spread. 


Additionally, hospital staff successfully evacuated four women and two children. The hospital management has yet to disclose the exact number of patients present during the incident. The vicinity of Ankura Hospital witnessed a hazardous situation due to thick smoke, and authorities are actively working to determine the precise cause of the fire.
