Is YS Jaganmohan reddy hesitating to provide the list of constituency in-charges for the 2019 general elections? Doubts are rising inside the YSRCP, with fears that refusing tickets to more than 50 sitting members may spark a revolution. The initial changes in in-charges during the first phase, which involved 11 members, sparked a huge outcry.

While the worried MLAs may not fear jagan, the YSRCP's second-tier leaders are not happy with the adjustments. The relocation of minister Meruga nagarjuna from the vemuru seat in the bapatla district to Santanutalapadu in the prakasam district has sparked outrage among the cadre. Tippala Nagireddy, mla of Visakhapatnam, has publicly criticised his relocation from Gajuwaka. Despite the rise in social pension from Rs. 2,750 to Rs. 3,000, jagan is reportedly apprehensive about future demonstrations, particularly if existing MLAs oppose strongly to candidate changes.

There is a genuine worry that if the demonstrations develop, MLAs will defect to the tdp and Jana Sena, creating the impression that the YSRCP is suffering internal issues ahead of the polls. Another source of concern for jagan is the prospective influence of YS Rajasekhar Reddy's daughter, Sharmila, taking over the ap Congress.
