According to trustworthy sources, the budget of glam starlet Kajal Aggarwal's debut female-centric film 'Satyabhama' has beyond predetermined amounts. "It has truly gone over budget since it crossed the Rs 10 crore mark and requires more money to wrap up the film," a source says, adding, "Producers are unwilling to compromise as they are designing it as a multilingual film and the budgets are bound to shoot up."  

Without a doubt, kajal aggarwal underwent a makeover to wear khakis for the first time in her career, and she is ready to show off her fiery side in a subtle yet dramatic way. "They have been shooting extensively at varied locales including ramoji film city and varied outskirts of hyderabad since the investigative cop story demands big span," he said.

Earlier, producer Tikka Mohan told the india Herald, "She nicely slipped into the author-backed role and doing a great job." "She is doing a performance-oriented film after undergoing a complete makeover to enthrall her legion of fans after proving her mettle in lover girl roles," he says. He justifies the title 'Satyabhama,' which is based on the mythical account of Lord krishna and his wife satyabhama, saying, "We are going to depict a new-age satyabhama who is confident, fearless, and daring to take on challenges."

He went on to say that there is a diwali narrative in Hindu mythology in which Lord krishna defeated the demon king Narakasura with the help of his bride Satyabhama. "She also fought the battle along with him and brought peace to the region," he said.
