As the lok sabha elections approach, the congress and bjp are bracing for a struggle in Telangana, with the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) facing hurdles following its defeat in the assembly polls. Political activity in Chevella is picking up as bjp and BRS officials meet with activists as the ruling congress prepares for the forthcoming lok sabha election.

Tandur, Vikarabad, Parigi, Chevella, Rajendranagar, Serilingampally, and Maheswaram are among the constituencies on the ballot. The inclusion of kodangal in mahabubnagar complicates the political dynamics. The BRS, which gained multiple seats in the 2019 lok sabha elections, suffered losses in the recent assembly elections. The 2019 lok sabha elections feature a triangular struggle between the congress, bjp, and BRS parties.

The BRS intends to make its candidates public as soon as possible, with Ranjith reddy confirmed for Chevella. In Chevella seats, the assembly elections were dominated by a Congress-BRS battle. Former mp Konda Visveswara reddy is rumored to be running for the bjp, while Dr. Ranjith reddy has been confirmed as the BRS candidate. Most BRS leaders agree, but disagreements emerge in Tandur, laying the ground for an exciting election contest in Chevella.
