EaseMyTrip has suspended all flight bookings to maldives due to anti-PM Modi posts. EaseMyTrip, india has decided to suspend all Maldivian flight bookings after some Maldivian ministers made slanderous comments about prime minister Modi's visit to Lakshadweep. Nishant Pitti, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of EaseMyTrip, an indian online travel company, posted on the X social media page. In his post, he said, "Standing in solidarity with our nation. EaseMyTrip has suspended all maldives flight bookings."

Headquartered in New Delhi, EaseMyTrip was founded in 2008 by Nishant Pitti, Rikanth Pitti, and prashant Pitti. Earlier on january 4, prashant Pitti mentioned in his post, "The waters and beaches of lakshadweep are the best places on par with places like Maldives/Seychelles. We at EaseMyTrip will be offering amazing special offers to promote this beautiful place visited by our prime minister Narendra Modi recently."
Amid the spat between india and maldives, the hashtag #BoycottMaldives is trending on social media as many indian tourists have reportedly started canceling their planned vacations to the Maldives.

Maldives ministers Malsha Sharif, Maryam Sheuna, and Abdullah Mahsoom Majid have been suspended for making derogatory comments about prime minister Modi.
