Hanuman has already created a good buzz as it competes with Mahesh Babu's guntur Karam movie which is releasing on january 12 during Sankranti. However, Hanuman is showing paid premiere shows and the hindi version has advanced shows for trade analysts and experts. Before these paid premieres, the makers have put on a Hanuman special show for some of the industry's celebs. So, Here's india Herald's First Spoiler-Free Review!

Teja Sajaa as Hanumanth is an underdog who eventually turns out to be a Super Hero. The movie is a simple story where an underdog becomes the hero. prashant varma has taken a few tricks from Rajamouli's sleeve and that is obvious in most of the frames. He even uses Rajamouli's elevation techniques for the protagonist and that keeps us hooked, booked & engrossed through his storytelling at regular intervals. He is a new force to reckon with.

On the flip side, the team could have edited the movie even more. Especially, the first half was a tad slower and the initial momentum was completely on the downside. The movie picks up only after the first 30 minutes. After that, the movie is a complete Non-Stop Entertainer and the entire second half is a BANGER. With a shoe-string budget, the team has achieved unbelievable Visual Effects and the makers have made it possible and that is commendable. Varalaxmi as Teja's sister, Vinay as a menacing Villain, and samuthirakani with his sublime form added more value to the storyline.

Vennela Kishore and amrita Aiyer could have got more screen space. director prashant varma has carefully crafted this as an Entertainer and he mixed the Drama and Mythology skilfully with loads of Goosebumps moments. The biggest strength and success of this movie is the VFX never overpowers the story at any point in time.
