Producer dil raju stated that the 1 a.m. screening had mixed reviews, with some calling it 'ordinary' and others calling it a good picture. However, dil raju noted that based on the few personal talks he had with the audience and after watching the film, he was confident in his assessment that guntur Kaaram is a powerful mother-son relationship picture and a true mahesh babu character-driven film.

Dil Raju went on to say how early unfavourable reviews of a film may dilute the viewer's experience when they finally watch it among all of the discussions. He explained, "If you come in after hearing all the bad chatter, you wind up focusing on the flaws rather than the positives.

He continued, "Guntur Kaaram is a family entertainer, ideal for the occasion of Sankranthi, when family members may all gather and enjoy a soothing family drama in each other's presence. dil raju went on to say, "People were enjoying and hooting throughout, whether it was for Trivikram's dialogues, Mahesh Babu's character, or the entire stretch between mass song and the climax with the emotional moments." If you consider all of these factors, it's a positive film."
