Prime minister Narendra Modi is on a two-day visit to Kerala. During his visit, he prayed at the famed Lord krishna temple at Guruvayur and attended the wedding of suresh Gopi's daughter. A video of PM Modi praising newlyweds inside the temple has been making the rounds on social media.

The video begins with PM Modi wearing traditional'mundu' (dhoti), kurta, and a white shawl. As the video continues, he can be seen greeting guests inside the temple with folded hands. Towards the end of the video, he is seen giving the couple varmala. After exchanging varmala, the pair is seen requesting PM Modi's blessings.

PM Modi landed in Cochin international Airport from andhra pradesh about 6:30 p.m. on january 16. Kerala's governor Arif Mohammed Khan and chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan greeted him on the tarmac. He then began his tour at 7:35 p.m. in an open jeep. bjp State President K Surendran accompanied him on the tour. The prime minister will also pray at the Triprayar sree Rama temple in thrissur district. He last visited thrissur on january 3, when he staged a roadshow and spoke at a women's conclave.
