Ahead of the 'pran-pratishta' ritual of the ram Janmabhoomi mandir on january 22, the idol of ram Lalla was put within the sanctum sanctorum of the ram temple in ayodhya on Thursday. The 51-inch ram Lalla statue was delivered to the temple on Wednesday. It was created by a resident of Mysuru who comes from a line of renowned sculptors that dates back five generations. The placement ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum on thursday saw the unveiling of the first image of the veiled ram Lalla deity. Sharad Sharma, the communications coordinator for the vishwa Hindu Parishad, released the photos.

Inside the temple's hallowed premises, revered acharyas and Vedic Brahmins were reportedly observed presiding over religious rituals, according to news agency ANI. Participants in the prayers included members of the ram Janmabhoomi Tirth Kshetra, according to the vishwa Hindu Parishad. The ram Lalla statue was placed in the sanctum sanctorum on thursday afternoon, according to news agency PTI, which was informed by priest Arun Dixit, who is involved in the consecration process. According to the Shri ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust, this was carried out as prayers were being chanted.

According to Arun Dixit, a trust member named Anil Mishra carried out the "pradhan sankalp." "The 'pradhan sankalp' concept posits that the 'pratishtha' of Lord ram is being carried out for the well-being of everybody, including the nation, humanity, and individuals who have contributed to this endeavor," Arun Dixit was cited as saying by PTI. He said that further rites were carried out. Brahmins were also given vastras, and everyone had a task allocated to them, he continued.
