Byreddy Rajashekar Reddy, a famous political figure from rayalaseema, is preparing to return to active politics in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Byreddy, known for his outspoken support for the rayalaseema area, is apparently considering entering the telugu desam party (TDP), maybe alongside his daughter. Byreddy may be fielded as a candidate for the nandyala Parliament constituency, or his daughter may run for an assembly seat in the kurnool district under the tdp flag.

Byreddy is expected to formalise his comeback to the tdp before the end of the month. Internal negotiations within the tdp have focused on the allotment of assembly segments in the nandyala Parliament constituency. While Byreddy has asked control of two assembly segments, nandikotkur and Paanyam, the tdp leadership appears unwilling to meet this demand. Byreddy's daughter, Byreddy Sabari, is the current President of the bjp in nandyala district.

If the tdp agrees to grant an additional assembly seat, Sabari might run for nandikotkur or Paanyam. As part of the discussions, the tdp has offered the rajya sabha MP seat to Sivananda Reddy, the party's in-charge of nandikotkur, and the MLC seat to Gowru Charita Reddy, the party's in-charge of Paanyam. NMD Farooq has also been announced as the tdp nominee for the nandyala assembly seat. The TDP's unfolding dynamics, as well as Byreddy's approaching return, point to potential adjustments in political alliances and strategy, notably in Andhra Pradesh's rayalaseema area.
