As bihar chief minister nitish kumar rejoined the nda, political analyst prashant kishor claimed that the BJP-led alliance will "clean sweep" the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. In an exclusive interview, prashant kishor criticised nitish kumar for abandoning the Mahagathbandhan, which includes the RJD and the Congress, saying he was "playing the last innings of his life".

Prashant Kishor, calling nitish kumar "cunning," said that the JD(U) will not win more than 20 seats in the 2025 assembly elections. "Regardless of whose alliance he fights for, nitish kumar would be unable to win more than 20 seats in the upcoming assembly election. "If they get more than 20 seats, I'll quit my job," he stated.

Nitish Kumar ended days of uncertainty on sunday by severing connections with the RJD and the Congress, the components of the Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance) government, and taking oath as chief minister of the nda coalition for the record ninth time.

The JD(U) supremo joined the Mahagathbandhan in august 2022, after he severed relations with the bjp, claiming it of attempting to "split" his party.

Prashant Kishor, calling the bjp a party of flip-flops, stated that the JD(U)-BJP coalition will fail to exist before the 2025 assembly elections.

"The people rejected him. "That's why he'll do anything to save his chair," he explained.

He said that the political turmoil in bihar was the BJP's attempt to undermine the opposition india alliance. He said that if the bjp had competed alone, it would benefit them.

"In bihar, not only nitish kumar but all parties, including the bjp, are 'paltu rams'. This development will hurt the BJP. If it had contested on its own, it would have had a good chance of winning, according to the political expert.
