On Friday, february 23, a member on X said that his friend, who registered his just-purchased vehicle in 2024, had a 2020 traffic ticket filed against it.

He uploaded a picture of the challan on the official telangana State police website.

"Night Owl," an X user, called it a "Time Travelling Traffic Ticket" and pleaded with the city traffic police to address the problem.

"Traffic Ticket for Travelling Time? The owner is perplexed by a 2024 car invoice for a 2020 violation. On december 22, 2023, my friend bought his Tata Nexon, which he registered on january 6, 2024. He happened to glance for challans and saw one dated december 14, 2020, which mentioned something about the irregularity of the number plate. But at that point, he wasn't the owner of the vehicle.
 
@HYDTP, please provide a solution,” he said in a post on X.

The X user posted a photo depicting details of the challan on the telangana State Police's official website and urged the authorities to provide a solution. He also claimed that his friend, who registered his newly bought car in 2024, has a traffic challan filed against it from 2020.
