Gajjala Vivekanand, the son of bjp politician Gajjala Yoganand, and nine other people were taken into custody by the hyderabad police on charges of drug use at a party held at a hotel in Gachibowli.  The director of the Manjeera Group of Companies, Vivekanand (37) is the son of Yoganand, a candidate in the assembly elections. When the Radisson Blu hotel in the Cyberabad borders was searched, six additional people, including Vivekanand, Syed abbas Ali Jeffrey, Nirbhay, and Kedhar, were taken into custody.
 

The operation was jointly carried out on sunday night by the Gachibowli police and the Special Operations Team-Cyberabad. Three cell phones, three used plastic covers containing one gramme of cocaine each before it was used, and three pieces of white coloured paper used to consume narcotics were found.
 
After receiving reliable information that Vivekanand and his associates had used narcotics, the police visited the hotel, at which point all of the guests had fled. Upon investigating the property, our team discovered three used one-gram plastic sachets of cocaine and a white paper roll used for drug use. According to a police statement, the officers visited Vivekanand's home in jubilee hills based on additional information and took him to the police station.
 
He admitted during questioning that he planned the get-together for his pals at the Radisson Blu hotel in his hotel room. He was sent for medical testing, and the results showed that he had taken the drug. It further stated that an investigation is in progress to identify the drug dealers and other customers in this instance.
