In Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, supporters of congress general secretary priyanka gandhi Vadra have posted posters urging her to run for the 2024 lok sabha elections from the party's stronghold. The poster reads, "Rae bareli pukarti, priyanka gandhi ji aaye (Raebareli calls, priyanka gandhi come)"

In Rae bareli, Uttar Pradesh, supporters of congress politician priyanka gandhi Vadra have put up posters calling on the party leadership to select her as the nominee for the lok sabha constituency.

Rae bareli, a prestigious seat for the congress and a longtime congress bastion, was formerly held by the late Indira gandhi, the prime minister. It's interesting to note that Indira gandhi, the only prime minister in office to lose a lok sabha election, lost this seat to raj Narain in the 1977 general election.

Sonia gandhi has served as the seat's representative for the last 20 years and is now a rajya sabha member.

The congress has not yet revealed who will run for the Rae bareli position. In the midst of rumors over the party's selection for this prestige fight, Ms gandhi Vadra's supporters have posted posters around the constituency. "Take Congress's development work forward, Rae bareli is calling, priyanka gandhi ji, please come," the banner stated. Images of sonia gandhi, rahul gandhi, mallikarjun Kharge, former prime minister Indira gandhi, and independence warrior chandra shekhar Azad are included on the posters.  Additionally, the bjp has not yet declared a candidate for the lok sabha constituency.
