Four years after the controversial law was enacted by Parliament, the Center put the caa into effect by announcing the regulations. The caa allows illegal non-Muslim migrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and afghanistan who arrived in india before december 31, 2014, to get citizenship more quickly. It is "not acceptable" to execute the caa, according to a statement made by Vijay and posted on the microblogging platform X.

A rough translation of his speech, which was made public in tamil, claimed that "it is not acceptable to implement any law like the indian citizenship amendment act 2019 (CAA) in an environment where all citizens of the country live with social harmony."

Additionally, he asked the tamil Nadu government to make sure the law was not enforced in tamil Nadu.

The message went on, "The leaders should make sure that tamil Nadu does not implement this law."

As soon as this went viral on Twitter, several netizens started to troll him. Political analyst Sumant Raman tweeted, "How can a State Govt stop the implementation of #CAA in one State alone? Citizenship is a Union Govt subject. Someone please tell him. #Vijay"

Kanimozhi Manoharan tweeted, "You never condemned bjp who brought this caa or never condemned ADMK who supported this, but stressing DMK shows your safe game in politics!"

You can check some more funny tweets below and all these prove that Vijay has upgraded himself from Most Trolled Actor to Most Trolled Politician!
