Union minister G. kishan reddy visited Chengicherla village on tuesday and had a conversation with the tribal victims after there had been conflicts on sunday over playing loud music close to a place of worship, which led to members of two separate groups pelting stones at one other.
 

“I strongly condemn the midnight attack by the fanatic communal mafia on Tribals including women at Changicharla village in Ghatkesar, telangana yesterday. I visited the village and spoke to the victims, assured my full support in immediate medical treatment and in providing food. I call upon the authorities to immediately book the culprits, take stringent action and let the rule of law prevail.” Union minister G. kishan reddy posted on X.

While holi was being celebrated on sunday in Chengicherla's Pital Basti, several individuals set up speakers during the Namaz. Some others urged them to turn off the volume, which sparked a dispute between two neighborhoods that turned into physical assaults. According to the police, this event happened about 4:15 p.m. today. There were three people injured in the altercation on Sunday.

The police said that there was a furious altercation between the bjp activists and the officers. Lathi charges were used by police to scatter the demonstrators, according to videos of the events.
 
There is now an ongoing inquiry into the situation.
