Will arvind kejriwal get fast relief in delhi liquor case?

Chief minister arvind kejriwal is appealing his detention by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and asking for his immediate release in a money-laundering case related to the purported excise policy fraud. The delhi high court will hear his plea on Wednesday, march 27. The hearing for Arvind Kejriwal's appeal, which calls for his release due to the arrest and ensuing custody to the ED being "illegal," is scheduled at 10.30 a.m. before Justice Swarana Kanta Sharma.

Shortly after the high court denied the delhi chief minister's request for immunity from the federal anti-money laundering agency's coercive measures, the ED detained him. arvind kejriwal was placed under remand in the ED's custody till march 28 by the trial court on Friday. arvind kejriwal had already petitioned the high court to revoke and set aside all of the legal actions taken against him, including summonses. arvind kejriwal was detained on suspicion of money laundering and corruption during the creation and implementation of the excise policy for the delhi government's 2021–22 budget, which was subsequently canceled. Leading members of the aam aadmi party Manish Sisodia and sanjay singh are being held in detention for the same offense. According to the complaint, the accused had contact with arvind kejriwal when he was developing the excise policy, which gave them excessive benefits in exchange for bribes to the AAP.
