Tejashwi Yadav, the head of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), attended a meeting of the Opposition india alliance on tuesday and stated that a deal had been made over seat-sharing for the lok sabha elections in Bihar. The RJD leader added that a formal declaration in patna on the matter will probably come shortly. The gathering was held in the delhi home of Congressman Mukul Wasnik. The meeting was also attended by state in-charge Mohan Prakash and leader of the State congress, Akhilesh prasad Singh.

After the meeting, Yadav said that his party, the congress, and the Left will contest the bihar lok sabha elections together. He also added that the partners in the india bloc had verbally agreed on the seat-sharing plan and that all of the constituents were receiving a fair deal. Tejashwi Yadav's comments coincide with news of discontent about seat-sharing within the india alliance in Bihar.

The RJD's "unilateral" announcement of candidates for several bihar seats that the congress was interested in running for was reported to have angered the party.

India Today was informed by insiders that the negotiations were still ongoing and that a meeting on wednesday may be the last one to close the agreement.

From the first india block meeting, when Yadav, in a lighter moment, urged that rahul gandhi should get married and cut his beard, it was clear how friendly former chief minister Lalu prasad Yadav and congress leader rahul gandhi were.

"Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo yatra was a success. We advise him to get married right now. Yadav had stated, "Your mother always complains to us," to which rahul gandhi had replied, "If you are saying it, then I will follow."

While Lalu Yadav was teaching rahul gandhi how to cook at his daughter Misha's delhi home, the jokes went on.
