The opening day box office results for the tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and kriti sanon film "Crew" are in. Estimates state that the movie made Rs 8.75 crore when it first premiered in India. It also happens to be one of the largest vacancies in recent memory.

The first day's revenue for tabu, Kareena Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon's heist comedy was Rs 8.75 crore. The positive first-day performance was partly attributed to the film's publicity and the pairing of tabu and Kareena Kapoor. Despite considerable competition from films like "Godzilla X Kong" and "The Goat Life" starring prithviraj Sukumaran, the movie is anticipated to gain momentum throughout the weekend due to encouraging word-of-mouth.

Crew" has emerged as one of the biggest releases of 2024 thus far, following in the footsteps of films such as "Fighter" and "Shaitaan."

In our review, we said, "'Crew' is a welcome change in an era where political dramas that attempt to make a statement are everywhere." It is breezy, lighthearted, and loyal to its roots as a masala entertainment. With this movie, you can just enjoy a good chuckle without having to use your head. Similar to "Madgaon Express," which hit theatres last week, this one is entertaining and has wonderful comic timing.

Rajesh Krishnan is the director of "Crew," which also features Diljit Dosanjh, Saswata Chatterjee, Rajesh Sharma, and kapil sharma in a cameo role.
