A significant development has unfolded in the telangana phone-tapping case, which has captured widespread attention across the region and beyond. Amidst allegations of phone tapping involving celebrities, businessmen, and individuals from the film industry, a series of arrests have been made in recent days. 

The latest individual to be apprehended in connection with the case is Radhakishan Rao, the former OSD of the hyderabad Task Force. Rao was summoned to the banjara hills police Station on Thursday, where he underwent extensive interrogation. In an unprecedented revelation, an official statement has been issued confirming Rao's admission to his involvement in phone-tapping activities, specifically targeting private individuals. 


This admission marks a significant development in the ongoing investigation into the phone-tapping scandal that has gripped public attention. The official statement released by the police highlights Rao's acknowledgement of his role in phone-tapping operations, allegedly carried out under the guise of monitoring private individuals. 


Moreover, it has been indicated that illegal activities, including the possession of smuggled cash during the assembly Election Code period, were also perpetrated. Following the interrogation, Radhakishan Rao was presented before a judge on friday morning and subsequently remanded to judicial custody for fourteen days. He has been transferred to Chanchalaguda Jail, pending further legal proceedings.
