A revanth reddy, the chief minister of Telangana, stressed the need to have a consistent supply of power and clean drinking water during the summer. He gave authorities instructions to prevent power outages, make sure there was enough power supply to satisfy rising demand, and quickly fix outages.
 
With a peak demand of 14,000–15,000 MW and an average load of 9712 MW, the state produced an unprecedented amount of power this year.
 
During the first quarter of 2024, from january to March, the Energy Department provided 251.59 million units of power on average each day.


According to a news statement from the state administration, he commended authorities for their efforts in keeping a steady supply of electricity.

Revanth Reddy ordered authorities to use village-level action plans, designate special officers at the district level, make use of local water resources in May and June, and make sure that water tankers are delivered to customers on time and within 12 hours to avert a drinking water crisis.
 

To avoid people having problems finding drinking water during the summer, he gave the district collectors instructions to create an action plan ahead of time.
 
The news statement went on to say, "Water tanks will be made available to overcome drinking water shortage in all Municipalities and Municipal Corporations."
 
The chief minister gave authorities orders to boost the quantity of water tankers for supply and to guarantee that tankers reach customers without delay within 12 hours.
