Jitendra Awhad, the leader of the nationalist congress party (Sharad Pawar), questioned the absence of rajya sabha MP and leader of the aam aadmi party (AAP), Raghav Chadha, on Saturday. Meanwhile, delhi Chief minister arvind kejriwal is being held by the Enforcement Directorate for an extended period of time after being arrested in connection with a liquor policy case.

Notably, the opposition-led india alliance created to challenge the bjp in the 2018 lok sabha elections includes the aam aadmi party and the ncp (Sharad Pawar). Awhad posted the question, "Where is Raghav Chadha?" in a since-deleted post on X.

The head of the ncp had asked about the noticeably absent Raghav Chadha earlier in the day, after highlighting the active attendance of other AAP leaders like Atishi.

He claimed that Chadha was a great asset with an excellent mind and that the AAP workers were upset by his absence.

"Every AAP leader may be seen. people like Atishi are really active. The party's public face, Raghav Chadha, is also incredibly intelligent. party workers are devastated by his abduction, Awhad added.

"Those days of being unable to interact with people while you are far away are long gone. It's somewhat peculiar that he is unable to comment just because he is in London. He can record a video and email it to the gathering. We are investigating his whole absence," he continued.

The "blue-eyed boy" of arvind kejriwal, Chadha, is presently receiving a vitrectomy—a kind of eye surgery—in london alongside his wife Parineeti Chopra in order to avoid retinal detachment.

Arvind kejriwal was detained by the Enforcement Directorate till april 1 after being taken into custody by the investigative body in relation to the money laundering case involving the delhi liquor policy.

On march 21, the AAP chief was taken into custody from his official home in the nation's capital.

Kejriwal has been dubbed the "kingpin of the liquor policy scam" by the Enforcement Directorate, but the delhi chief minister has denied the accusations and said that the agency is working at the BJP's request to dismantle the AAP.
