Producer boney kapoor talked about his relationship with Janhvi Kapoor's alleged lover, Shikhar Pahariya, and his daughter. He claimed to be "blessed" to have Shikhar in their lives during an interview. By professing his adoration for Shikhar, boney also seemed to indicate that he and Janhvi were dating.

Boney Kapoor stated, "I love him (Shikhar) and, in fact, a couple of years back, Janhvi was not seeing him, but I was still friendly to him," in an interview with Zoom. He could never be my ex, I was sure of it." He went on, "He will be present. A person is nice to everyone when they support you in any way, be it for me, Janhvi, Arjun, or yourself. Therefore, I think it's a blessing that we have someone like him in our group."
 
Although Janhvi hasn't publicly acknowledged her connection with Shikhar, she has been spotted going out to lunch and supper. The suspected pair was spotted together at a party lately, where Shikhar went to Janhvi's sister Khushi Kapoor's birthday celebration.

Janhvi celebrated her 27th birthday last month by visiting the tirupati Temple with Shikhar and close friend Orry, popularly known as Orhan Awatramani. Several photos of the three at the shrine appeared online.

The politician and former chief minister of Maharashtra, Sushilkumar Shinde, is the grandson of Shikhar Pahariya.
