Dr. K. Laxman, mp and president of the bjp OBC Morcha, claimed that the purpose of the congress manifesto, Paanch Nyay, was to deceive the public once more, just as it had done with its Six Guarantees. He added that the Congress's pledge to give Rs 1 lakh to every impoverished family's female member was a huge scam because the party could not afford to give women Rs 2,500 a month under its Mahalakshmi plan, Dr. Laxman.
 
Speaking to the media following the release of the morcha's journal here on sunday, Dr. Laxman claimed that the congress leaders' claims of social justice were a joke because the party had colluded to defeat Dr. B.R. Ambedkar during his lok sabha campaign and was now exploiting his name for political advantage. However, the Bharat Ratna was presented to farmer leader Charan Singh by the BJP.
