The latest telugu movie "The Family Star," in which Mrunal Thakur costarred with Vijay Deverakonda, has been candid about her personal and professional life. The movie received notice this week when it was distributed on amazon Prime Video, despite its lacklustre box office results.

The actress became well-known after appearing in the tv series "Kumkum Bhagya" and went on to star in films such as "Love Sonia," "Super 30," "Dhamaka," "Jersey," and "Sita Ramam."

Mrunal talked candidly about her early unease about acting out personal situations in films in a recent interview. She talked about how it wasn't a viable plan for her to keep turning down parts because they made her uncomfortable.

"I found it difficult to do romantic, personal sequences. I would just refuse a movie out of fear, but how long could I do that for? I remember having to sit down with my parents at one time and tell them that I couldn't miss out on things because of this. It exists occasionally; I have no control over it. I was forced to abandon a film project that I really wanted to accomplish because it had a kissing sequence. Being prepared is essential for actors since the situation may need it. In an interview with iDiva, Mrunal said, "I kept missing out on films because of that, but you can speak up about it if you're uncomfortable."

Mrunal also revealed that her parents were first apprehensive about her acting in intimate roles. Her father disapproved of the first play she was offered because of the subject matter, and her employment obligations interfered with her ability to attend college. This sparked an important discussion in which her father emphasised the professional obligations she had made and counselled her to put her show before college.

In the future, Mrunal Thakur is scheduled to feature in another film in 2024. Navjot Gulati is the director of the hindi film "Pooja Meri Jaan," which features Huma Qureshi, vikram singh Chauhan, and Vijay Raaz. This endeavour represents a new phase in her varied and developing acting career.
