During YS jagan Mohan Reddy's administration, one of the nation's largest multipurpose irrigation projects, the polavaram project, has been postponed for the past few years. Union minister Amit Shah assured the people of andhra pradesh that the project would be finished in a few years if they voted for the BJP-TDP-JSP coalition. Shah referred to the polavaram project as Andhra Pradesh's lifeblood during his speech at today's public gathering in Dharmavaram. He underlined that the corruption in the jagan administration is the reason it is being delayed.

"We promise you to finish the project and deliver its water to farmers in just two years if you bring narendra modi to the center and Chandrababu back to the state," Shah said. Chandrababu was praised by him for the development of andhra pradesh both before and after the split. He said that jagan had thrown off Chandrababu's andhra pradesh development. According to Shah, during Jagan's leadership, investments have ceased, progress has ceased, and unemployment has increased.

He chastised jagan for accruing debt totaling Rs. 13.50 lakh crores throughout his administration. "Infrastructure is not developing on the one hand, but the state is experiencing a sharp increase in the land mafia on the other hand," he continued. Shah brought up Jagan's promise to outlaw alcohol in the state. But he said that jagan started an alcohol syndicate in andhra pradesh rather than keeping his word.
