Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali's new series, has recently debuted on OTT and has drawn some very passionate responses. Although some people appear to be enjoying it, most people seem to be detesting it and calling it Bhansali's worst work to date. "Heeramandi" is being called a snooze-fest in spite of its extravagant sets, striking graphics, and cinematic flair. While none of the performances are particularly noteworthy, Bhansali's niece Sharmin Segal, an actress, is receiving harsh criticism on the internet for her awful acting.

Those who saw Heeramandi on Netflix are criticising Segal's performance as lifeless and a complete bust, claiming that Bhansali made a big mistake in hiring her. Before they witnessed Sharmin Segal wreck the entire dang Heeramandi, many people believed Bhansali would always put skill before nepotism. After witnessing Heeramandi being brutally murdered by Sharmin, fans are cheering for madhuri Dixit, Aishwariya Rai, deepika Padukone, priyanka Chopra, and alia Bhatt—all former Bhansali film heroines.

Whatever good there was in Heera Mandi was wrecked by her alone. It's reasonable to assume that Sharmin Segal has received more trolling than any other actor in recent memory. Unfortunately, her career terminated before it really got going.
