On sunday night, several areas inside the State had a notable break from the intense temperatures. The temperature decrease provided respite from the ongoing extreme heat, but it also caused havoc in several places. There was rain and strong gusts in the districts of nalgonda, Suryapet, mulugu, and Mahabubabad. According to the telangana State Development Planning Society, atmakur in the Suryapet district had the greatest rainfall, 46.4 mm.
 

In various areas of the nalgonda district, there have been reports of heavy rain and windy conditions, which have caused tree falls and power outages. Sadly, reports suggest that during the storm, cattle also perished from lightning strikes. For over two hours, the rain continued, bringing havoc to Damarawai hamlet in mulugu district. house walls crumbled, paddy crops lay in ruins, and a big tree obstructed the Katapur Mangapet road, preventing movement.

In mahabubabad district, narasimha Peta and chinna Gudur mandals experienced gusty winds and hailstorms. On Monday, the weather department has issued warnings of thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds likely to occur at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, mulugu, bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, nalgonda, Suryapet, mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanamkonda, yadadri Bhuvangiri, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, and jogulamba gadwal districts.
