Social media rumours that bollywood star Sai Dharam Tej, nephew of Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan, was attacked in Tatiparthi hamlet in Gollaprolu mandal of kakinada district have been refuted by kakinada district police. A Jana Sena member was injured in an alleged attack on sai dharam tej by YSRC workers using beer bottles; the worker has been taken to the government hospital in Pithapuram.

Leader of telugu Desam and former mla S.V.S.N. varma said that the YSRC orchestrated the attack because they were afraid of losing to the nda coalition. On Monday, nevertheless, kakinada DSP K. The DSP explained that sai dharam tej entered the hamlet to do campaigning after leaving his car outside. At that moment, a YSRC employee threw an unidentified item that struck a spectator in the village of Nalla Sridhar. After receiving treatment for a moderate head injury, he was released on Monday.

It was made clear by Hanumantha Rao that no bottles or other items had been discovered there. Nonetheless, two YSRC employees were apprehended by police and given notifications in accordance with 41A. The DSP said that Gollaprolu police had filed a complaint.
