In the subsequent year, the actress starred in two more kannada films: Anjani Putra, starring Puneeth Rajkumar, and Chamak, starring Ganesh. Rashmika and vijay deverakonda worked together for the first time on geetha govindam, a project that would go on to become a fan favourite. The two main actors' on-screen chemistry was praised by critics, who hailed the romantic comedy film's enormous success. In addition to being among the biggest earning telugu films of 2018, the movie is regarded as one of Rashmika's greatest ever.
 
Controversies
For rashmika mandanna, everything appeared to be going well from the start of her career, but it would not last long. The actress started dating co-actor rakshit shetty when they were filming kirik party, her debut feature. The couple became engaged to be married in 2017.

Regretfully, the couple called off their engagement in 2018 due to compatibility problems. Fans were taken aback by the abrupt announcement of their split as well. They nonetheless remained close friends, with the charlie 777 actor adding that they occasionally even have conversations.
 
The actress was the subject of criticism once more in 2022. In an interview promoting her hindi film debut, Goodbye, the actress talked about her experience. As she discussed her dream of becoming an actor and how kirik party gave her her big break. She did not, however, identify the name of the production company that worked on the movie, Paramvah Studios, which was co-founded by rakshit shetty, her ex-fiance.
