K Chandrashekhar Rao, head of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) and former chief minister, refused the State government's invitation to attend the formal ceremonies celebrating the tenth anniversary of telangana State establishment on june 2. He voiced his dissatisfaction with the congress government's attempts to discredit the sacrifices of the telangana struggle and martyrs during the telangana State creation to depict itself as a savior who delivered the state.

In an eight-page open letter to chief minister A revanth Reddy, Chandrashekhar Rao voiced great worry about the present congress government's management of state affairs, listing multiple challenges impacting various sectors and accused the congress of pushing telangana backward.

The former chief minister underlined the misery of farmers, who are suffering significant losses and even committing suicide as a result of withering crops and power outages. He wanted to know why farmers were forced to wait in lines for seed and fertilizer in the hot heat, something he had not seen in the previous ten years. He chastised the congress government for failing to give timely agricultural investment support and for abandoning the Rythu Bandhu plan, which had been a lifeline for farmers during the BRS administration.

He highlighted the congress government's complete inability to implement the Rythu Bharosa program, which promised Rs 7,500 per acre every season, or Rs 2,500 more than the Rythu Bandhu scheme. "You (the Chief Minister) have not only failed to address farmers' woes but did not bother to even visit them to console them during such a crisis," said Chandrashekhar Rao. Similarly, he highlighted that once well-supported handloom workers are now struggling to make ends meet, resulting in terrible suicides.

The BRS head highlighted the hardships of unemployed people, particularly young people, who are waiting for job announcements and assistance that were promised but not provided. He accused the congress of failing to carry out promised initiatives such as the Mega DSC for teacher recruitment and unemployment compensation, aggravating the situation of the unemployed.

Chandrashekhar Rao highlighted the congress government's various electoral pledges made during the assembly elections, which totaled over 420, including the Six Guarantees, and questioned its inability to implement them. He said that instead of clarifying the destiny of these pledges, the congress administration was attempting to frighten individuals who questioned them by launching fake cases against them.
