Suriya and karthi Subbaraj are finally working on a movie together, provisionally named Suriya 44. After announcing the film's official crew list, the producers also revealed the cast roster, which includes actress pooja hegde and Jayaram. The filmmakers have unveiled a set of character posters that show pooja and jayaram in some fascinating poses. Furthermore, the filmmakers have stated that malayalam actors Joju George and karunakaran would appear in the film.

On a side note, actors Joju and karunakaran have previously collaborated with karthik on films such as Jagame Thandiram and Jigarthanda.
 A new video of actors Suriya and jayaram arriving in port blair has also surfaced on the internet, with fans gathered around the location. The film's pre-production has already begun in Andaman, and it is likely to include some high-octane action moments. Furthermore, there were initial rumors that Uriyadi star Vijay Kumar might play a prominent part in the film.
