Janhvi Kapoor, the bollywood star who will make her tollywood debut with Jr NTR's "Devara," recently experienced a wave of social media criticism when a video of her practicing cricket went viral. To promote her new film, "Mr & Mrs. Mahi," the actress recently published a behind-the-scenes video, which was also mocked.
The video shows Janhvi dressed in a cricket suit, batting, and bowling with a bunch of buddies. Rather than recognizing her excitement for the sport, several social media users began to mock her, labeling her a "fake" and claiming that she was simply doing it for attention by playing with a 'tennis ball'.

The actress explained that she was using a tennis ball to improve her hand-eye coordination and timing. She also stated that she would not be using a cricket ball to avoid injuries, particularly to her hands and fingers. "Got injured after playing with a cricket ball, and then started practicing with a tennis ball," Janhvi stated. The actress also got encouragement from fans of her mother, Sridevi, who recalled her mother's legendary cricket scene in the film "Mr.India" and thanked Janhvi for continuing the family tradition.
